when running the master package from msdb then the master package is picking all the child packages from sysssispackages tables in msdb.

You said the packages are deployed to the MSDB, but the master package is still trying to locate packages on the C: drive. You need to update your execute package...

Regarding the desired output that you gave in your original question:

you can get that from the second table only, so why would you join at all?

Save the SSIS package and edit it with BIDS to see what is wrong.

Can you post the query you tried?

Or just import it into the table and add the column later on (using the GUI) with the IDENTITY property.
