Start by looking up the word "scalar" in a dictionary. (OneLook.com is good for that kind of thing.) That should make it much more clear.

RedGate SQL Compare or ApexSQL Diff will do that for you pretty efficiently.

I had to solve that once. I think it was a permissions issue, but I'm not sure. Check that out, and hopefully someone who's solved this more recently...
