  • RE: Importing Delimited file into sql 2005 table

It means there is something wrong with the last row of data in the file. Generally, in a text file, it means it needs a hard-return at the end...

  • RE: MSDB log file size is 17GB?????

Do you have the database in Full Recovery mode, and do you do backups?

  • RE: SQL Service stops if more than 5 concurrent users access one DB

SQL Express doesn't do well with more than 1 or 2 users. Shouldn't stop, but I bet if you check the error logs, you'll find some high-severity issue coming...

  • RE: Setup Servers - Cost efective

I think your best bet is load into a staging copy of the database, copy the files to the production server, then take the production database offline and attach the...

  • RE: Testing for Existence of SSIS (DTS) Package

Does it give you an error, or just do nothing at all? Have you tried running it without the "no_output" option to see what that tells you?

  • RE: What's best way to assign permissions needed for SSIS package

You might be better off having a "low authority" account, and a "high authority" account. Only use the high authority one where it's needed, use the low authority one...

  • RE: Setup Servers - Cost efective

How big are the databases? (I have a couple of thoughts on this, but need to know database size before I can suggest anything that might be intelligent.)

  • RE: Testing for Existence of SSIS (DTS) Package

If it's an SQL 2005 SSIS package, it gets stored in sysdtspackages90, not in sysdtspackages. Try there.

  • RE: upgrade from sql server 2000 to 2005

If you're doing the upgrade onto a different machine, you can have the same instance name. If not, you can't.
