    The most frequent what? Stored proc?

    I use server traces to get that kind of data.

    The code (the loop) runs. It just takes a lot longer than other solutions, at least on the machines I tested it on.

    It's because it's going to have to get 12,003 rows out of 21,681. At that point, it's easier to do a scan and join to it than to do...

    Yes, this can be done with SSIS.

    Declare a variable, set up a For...Each...Next loop that goes through the files in the folder, and assign the file name to the variable....

    DTS might be able to do something like that.

    But I have to ask, why Access databases? Why not give the sales managers some sort of access to the SQL...

    The reason to do a check on @@Rowcount in this case, as opposed to just checking for errors, is that a failed insert isn't necessarily an error.
