You can query AD. I don't have the code for that on me right now, but it can be done. Would that do what you need?

You can't build the string to be executed inside the Exec command. Build it as a variable first, then execute it.

Check for what's running in the model database that it's conflicting with. There will be some incomplete transaction in model.
