Is there a constraint that limits which tables the Source value 123 can be in?
Or at least an index on that column in each table?

I'm going to assume this is SQL 2005. If you're actually using 2008, then take a look at the FileStream data type.

What's the actual script you're trying to run?
Is it an Alter Table statement? If so, please provide the table definition (create script) and the Alter Table script....

If there are jobs that are going to start up and expect the user databases to be there, you might get error messages because of that.

What are those values? Are they hex or some such?
Varchar does alphabetical comparisons for Between. Thus, since "2" is between "0" and "6", you're going to get that...
