    SSMS doesn't do that.

    You could still use Access for it, so far as I know.

    Or you'll be building your own front end.

    SSMS is really meant for DBA work, like managing...

    Nope. I've done that, and never seen an issue. Unless by "multiple" you mean hundreds or thousands, which might eat a few too many resources.
