Change the name of "@iNew", either in the dynamic SQL or in the calling procedure. You're using that one twice.

The possibility of a missing end value is why I use an inline subquery instead of the CTE method.

I've always used replication for that. Easy enough to set up and manage, and it works well.

IsNull will return a secondary value if a value is null. No row = no column value = IsNull doesn't handle that.
