    If it links to the SSMS installer, sure.
    The installation center (on the SQL 2016 installation media) has a link.

    Management studio is a separate install in SQL 2016.
    Download it (the 2016 installer has a link) and install it manually.

    I'm asking you  to restore a backup from *before* you ran that...

    Weekly would be good. Often enought that if you find corruption, you can fix it by restoring from backup and lose no data in the process.
