Sorry, I left a column and the join condition out. They should be joined on ParentID as that's the foreign key between the tables.

If you want to shrink your log file in 2008 use the following technique.--Use DatabaseName
--GO
--Alter Database DatabaseName Set Recovery Simple
--GO
--Alter Database DatabaseName Set Recovery Full
--GO
And take a full backup...
