    Use profiler and run a trace to see where the drop statement is coming from. This is not data corruption.

    Rollback time - unknown. As far as I know, it won't undo the entire thing, so should be relatively quick. If I'm wrong and it does...

    You could download the entire of SQL Evaluation version, it'll probably be in there. It's not a separate download afaik.

    It'll have an indirect impact. It'll increase the time to rebuild those indexes. Plus there's the space considerations.

    You don't insert/update/delete any other time than the overnight load?

    Nope..you misunderstood..

    overlapping indexes are the indexes which overlapped over the columns...for example..if i have 3 indexes..

    index 1 is on Table1 on col1,col2,col3

    index 2 is on Table1 on col1,col2

    index 3...

    As I said, highly unlikely to be useful, there are edge cases, but they are rare. It is very uncommon to have a useful perf improvement by adding a NC...
