Doesn't really sound like a job for a trigger. A couple of computed columns should work very well here. Check Books Online for details of computed columns. Maybe start here...

If you are running 64-bit SQL, you must set the max memory. SQL is a memory hog and it will happily use all available memory and ask for more.

What's the exact version of SQL that you are running? There were bugs with the page usage metadata right up to SP3 iirc
