Maybe. What you haven't mentioned is the frequency of the log backups which is important. 90GB every 15 minutes is huge. 90GB a day, not so much.

That's not automatically tracked, SQL doesn't store that info for you anywhere, so for older records, unless you had some form of auditing there's no way you'll be able to...

That said, if the server crashes at 9:30, all you can restore is the full and the diff (and maybe the 9am log), unless you managed to take a tail-log...

Nothing wrong there. The logical names for files only have to be unique within a database.
