Make sure that the login has a mapped user in its default database and that the database it has listed as default exists. That's what login failure state 16 means

Couple things...
Don't use backup devices. Backup to disk, give each backup its own file, preferably stamped with the datetime.
If you are running log shipping, you cannot have anything else backing...

On the log shipping dialog, secondary database settings, the restore transaction log tab, select standby instead of no recovery mode.

MAS90ID and SLXID are varchar(50) in the source table, nvarchar(10) in the destination. Likely there are values over 10 characters long.
