    Not at all. Read up on 3-state logic. TRUE, FALSE and UNKNOWN. Any comparisons with NULL (other than IS NULL/IS NOT NULL) return UNKNOWN, not TRUE or FALSE

    High memory usage is typically what you want, it means SQL is using the resources on the server.

    It's stored within the plans themselves. The properties of the top-most operator (the SELECT, UPDATE, INSERT, DELETE, etc) has a property CompileTime. That's the time in ms the query took...

    Long recovery time from lots of VLFs is not a bug. There have been several changes that MS made to try and optimise the recovery, knowing how many DBs...

    Try casting to float if the accuracy isn't a problem, it's a little more flexible than numeric. Other than that, see what that column contains other...

    IsNumeric should actually be called something like CanBeConvertedToSomeNumericdataType

    IsNumeric('123,234') returns 1, but it can't be converted to numeric, only money
