You have to enclose the column names with squared brackets like:

DELETE FROM MyTab WHERE [My.Col] = 1

If this doesn't help please post your SQL statement.

You can use a CTE with a UNION ALL and an additional sort column:

DECLARE @t TABLE (Machine VARCHAR(10), Material VARCHAR(10), Store VARCHAR(10))

INSERT INTO @t

SELECT 'Notepad', 'Stone', 'East'

DECLARE...

You cannot determine the count and names of your columns within a CASE statement. SELECT statements always require to return table structures with same columns and data types for each...

Just a little sample which shows that Ians convert works:

DECLARE @c CHAR(16)

SELECT @C = CONVERT(CHAR(16),0xDEFE4787AC2D4351BDA6FFCA07CC0D00)

SELECT @C, CONVERT(BINARY(16), @c)
