I am looking at the sys.dm_exec_connections & sys.dm_exec_sessions on my local machine but I do not see the sessions & connections from yesterday.

Okay, that's the problem. The login xxxx\SQLServerAGENT can't execute the procedure because it doesn't have permission to database xxxx.

To fix it, you'll need to create a user named xxxx\SQLServerAGENT...
