Yes, post your script so someone can show you that you probably don't need to use a CURSOR.

Can you post DDL and your sample data in readily consumable format?

Also, if you've already written a query, post that and a clear explanation of the result set you want....

First of all, you need to gather your courage and tell your DBA that this design is complete crap and it must be changed. EstDate should be a DATETIME...

Here are 2 ways:
