I have seen this issue but I am not very sure on the reason. It looks like SQL Server (or Excel) considers all Excel rows valid if they are touched....

Please verify the path\file 'D:\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\LOG\Delete_FullBakFiles.txt'. It is not valid for SQL Server 2008.
