    There was an assertion error and SQL died. An insert was taking place.

    One of the guys restarted the service and thought nothing of it.

    The problems (most of the time) are not network related. When I run the app local to the machine, it's as slow as when run from the network so...

    I used their drivers for Adabas > SQL which worked well.

    They have for DB2 as well.
