    Chris, I tried the code you suggested might work, but doesn't seem to like the word DECLARE

    I used your suggestion re WHERE datepart(month,getdate()) >3 and the following code...

    Using @variables makes the code much easier to read - for the purposes of figuring out the problem, if nothing else. The same applies to using table aliases - 'p'...
