You can check the ExecutionLog view in the ReportServer DB, but it only stores information for a limited period of time.

Profiler will only log when an event occurs so if your seeing many login logouts then your system is processing many logins and logouts.

Also check the windows error logs for when the services where supposed to have started up, will help in the investigation
