I will make sure that the Named Pipes Protocol is disabled on all of my Servers for it is a Security Risk.

For one it bypassed the firewall.

It was a Windows Firewall Issue.

That'll revoke the deny, but won't necessarily restore the permission. You'll need to do an explicit GRANT if the user doesn't have the permission through any other...

I revoke the permissions. Later I ran the following command on the schema and it returned no rows, so it looks like I'm good to go.
