I ran the Import Wizard and I saved the SSIS Package.
It did not allow me to unselect the Create Table.
So I deleted it.
Then I tried to map the destination and...

I got the same problem on a different table however when I create a new OLD DB Destination the table does not appear when I attempt to select it.

I created a new OLE DB Destination and the table appeared.

When you remote in launch SSMS and navigate to the Database that you are trying to connect to.
Perform a Select Statement.
Are you able to check Security at the Server...

Were you able to identify the permissions for the account you using to connect to when creating the DSN?
I would recommend that you start there.

It appears to be an authentication issue.
Check permissions.

I have Transaction Log backups every 5 minutes which forces me to use SSMS.

Unfortunately you have to use Version 3.0.
Why did you want to use 1.0?

What happens if you Set the port to the default?
Eliminate the browser, non default port and go from there.

Did you try and execute IPCONFIG from the Server? Do you have the correct IP Address?
