That worked on my server here where the view is dbo, tables are all dbo.
When catalog is left blank i do see DISA and DISB however as the select is...

I had the same thing happen to me you just cannot get into activity to see anything you get the lock timeout in the studio.

So you have the mdf, ldf and 4 other ndf what sizes did you make your temp files and did you set up a max growth size ...
