Good advice, mentioned in previous post. might be easier if you can get into the local user group in your area, will be cheaper and you will learn faster.

It sounds like you have a conversion issue, can you either break down the package so that you know which task is failing, or post the datatypes for the table...

dbcreator allows the dropping of any databases
Whatever rights are needed, can be granted without giving the server level role.

Tara, one thing I will point out, are you aware that you can grant create database to a login, you dont have to give them the server role dbcreator
