Deterministic just means that given the same inputs(parameters) a function will always return the same value.
Now technically this should make any use of data tables or current-state functions (like GetDate())...

I cannot think of any statement that is valid in a function that in and of itself would make a function non-deterministic. You would probably have to call something...
