    Yes you could make this much faster (and simpler, IMHO) by replacing the outer loop with a join to Tally table to index the bytes and replacing the inner loop...

    OK, it's "Server.GetSMOObject( URN )" to return any object in the SQL Server Instance by its URN. Details are in books online.

    This should be posted as it's own topic, in the appropiate forum (which is probably NOT Integration Services). When you do, be sure to include the actual error message.

    If you are using Lowell's query then just change TABLE1 to "declaration_tax_claim_lines" and TABLE2 to batch_transactions, and take out the extra reference on the first line.
