That usually indicates that the account your SQL Server is runnung under does not have access to the share.

I believe that when you change the Logging provider (in Logging setup) you have to redo the Logging setting/options too.

Rajram: Yes, that will work. However, you've just given yourself O(n^2) editing/maintenance overhead. For more than a few databases. this is going to be difficult.
