    VAS that is full can indicate memory presure. But if you say that VAS is 8 Tera on 64 bit systems i suppose I do not understand the concept.

    Workaround that can be used is to create a trigger on the MSDB to update sysjobs table when record created or updated.

    update [msdb].dbo.sysjobs

    set owner_sid = 0x01

    bcp exports to text file. the fact that you name it xls means that excel will pick it up and reformat it as an xls file when you open it....

    I would suggest login on to the server as the local administrator. Make sure the service accounts has the correct rights. The only place I have seen this before was...

    The file will report the size the same as the original but if you check the space used (actual size on disk) you will see that it does not consume...
