    Keep a database of it. Do inventory every now and again.

    A table with which computer it's on, what license level it is, and the activation code, plus the usual...

    The data change happens in the data file, but gets logged in the log file.

    Think of the log file like a bank account's statement. The money doesn't come out...

    Oracle or another DB for what? An extended range calendar? Why would I bother? Took me about 10 minutes to throw something together in SQL that works...

    I haven't seen numbers disappear out of text columns, but I have seen text disappear out of number columns, in that same manner.

    My solution was to pre-define the table I...

    Let me see if I understand this proc correctly.

    It looks like what it does is check a set of tasks and projects, find if they are in certain tables, update...
