    i think you are thinking other way around , PK provide clustred index by default , so while thinking abt PK you should think abt uniqueness of records. then next...

    I've got a basic start.

    AND S.[Object_ID] = SC.[Object_ID]

    Are the phyical file locations the same?

    TempDB and user DBs on different spindles?

    RAID and disks all ok?

    Does your QA enviroment have other instances or DBs sharing the resources?

    We'll be making the move to 2012 and availibility groups sometime next year. Hopefully i'll get a 2012 dev environment well before crunch time.

    Because you are using an IDENTITY, then you don't need...
