And how do you have memory configured? min server memory and max server memory? You don't really have much headroom on there so you really can't change too much.

Well, this can certainly be a problem and it is typically caused by improper indexing even though things may appear correct. It may also be due to a complex query...

As for the "no current full backup" problem, check the SQL Server log before the transaction log backup that ended in that error and see if the database switched recovery...
