I do not know a lot about the replication...however have some questions...are you restoring to the same DB? is that 50 gig filespace there? maybe it is creating that space...

Well, no...I initially ran the rskeymgmt from the default command prompt...and that appeared to work...it created the file...and the "reimport" was run basically the same way...both times they appeared to...

Now, I have the keys saved off from the original...I did the "rskeymgmt -a -fc:\rsdbkey.txt -p<password> " to restore the keys...it went fairly quickly to "restarting...

I checked this prior to trying to restore the existing backup file and keys, and they were the same, x.x.10xx, or whatever the number is for RS SP2.
