I still cannot duplicate even when creating an index on a nullable column. Have you tried to drop and recreate the index to see what would happen. Not ideal but...

In most cases the default is just fine. It really depends on if you have specially needs or interactions you need to be sure are prevented while a process occurrs.

Try as noted in BOL
sp_changeobjectowner 'existing_owner.object','dbo'
without the existing owner it is most likely looking for dbo.Test and not John.Test if say John where the owner.
