Did you stop SQL Server Agent and alter database msdb set enable_broker

i'm not sure you saw my last comment. back when i posted there was a bug with server names of 15+ characters. mine was 15 exactly.

Thanks for the code above. Tried the alert on our site. All OK except:-
@notification_message=N'Database $(ESCAPE_NONE(WMI(DatabaseName))) has been created on $(ESCAPE_NONE(WMI(ComputerName))) by $(ESCAPE_NONE(WMI(LoginName)))',
It does not bring back the new database name or computer name. Any suggestions?

Sorry, All sorted. I did not have 'Replace Tokens for all job responses to alerts' checked

This did not work if a database is created using restore.
