hi ,
i am unable to restart the server.while i am trying to restart i am getting below error message.
while restarting with SSCM (CONF manager) i am geting this error
THE REQUEST FAILED OR the srvice do not respond in timely fashion.consult the event log or other application logs for details"
while trying to connect using COMMAND : i am getting below eror
C:\>net start mssql$vijay /c/f/s
The SQL Server (VIJAY) service is starting.
The SQL Server (VIJAY) service could not be started
A system error has occurred.
System error 1067 has occurred.
The process terminated unexpectedly.
plz help me

Is this a new server install?
This error is generic. It means a service failed to start, but it doesn't specify anything. You need to check the logs for the specific error that's occurring.
