SQL Server 2016 Developer Edition Not installing Service pack 2

  • The Server is currently part of an Always on cluster. Server Details (Product Version Service Pack Edition

13.0.4474.0 SP1 Developer Edition (64-bit)). When I run the SP2 installer it gives the following error message:

There are no SQL Server instances or shared features that can be updated on this computer.

I have restarted the OS multiple times. I have checked the cluster in Windows all is good. WHAT AM I MISSING?

  • Can you verify that you have the correct file for SP2?  Can you put in here the filename and/or link where you're downloading SP2 file from?
