Hi,
we configured a new server and installed sql 2008 R2.
I am the part of domain admins. I am not able to access SQL management studio with windows authentication throwing below error, but i am able to access thru sql authentication.
sql login failed Msg 18456 (complete error messg)
Am I missing anything here? Please let me know. Thanks.

I'm not certain, but I don't think SQL Server cares if you are a domain admin on your network, your network name will still have to be granted a SQL Server login to login with windows authentication.

domain admin group has been already added to sql login with sys admin permissions.

If you get onto the sql server and look at the management logs there will be an error message with a severity and sate number, this will give you the reason for your login failure.
