Reporting Services and Mapping (Dundas)

    So I see Dundas can't talk at all about mapping in Reporting Services, and I don't see any functionality in the current CTP. So what's the word on the street, the gurgles at the watercooler? Will RS natively support mapping to go with the nifty new GEOGRAPHY data type?

    Resourceful me found the disappointing answer:

    SQL Server 2008 will not contain the map report items at RTM. We are investigating including this functionality for future releases. Right now, the only way to create these reports will be using SQL Server 2005 and the Dundas Map control for Reporting Services.
