Mergin Reports

  • Not sure if this is possible but my requirement is to merge the two pages of reports into one with a tabbed approach.

for example, MS-excel has worksheet and once you click the desired worksheet it takes you to there.

Similarly, in a tabbed document, the highlighted tab shows the data and at any time you can jump from one to another tab.

Can somebody guide, if this is possible how?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Okay no worries, I got the solution myself (from other webforums)

    1) creating a report containing a rectangle.

    2) Set the rectangle to have a page break after.

    3) Put your first report as a sub-report within the retangle,

    4) then put your second report as a sub-report below the rectangle.

SSRS will render the sub reports on different tabs

We are actually talking about Tab like approach not the tab control in SSRS.

Once you export to MS-EXCEL, it will comes as different worksheet
