I have an Analysis cube processed and can "browse" the database in Visual Studio with no issue with performance. But whenever I try to import the data into a report or an Excel spreadsheet, the performance is horrendous.
The cube is a small development cube with 5 dimensions and 2 measure groups. I have about 12 calculated members using MDX.
I had this 14MB cube on a development server which imported data just fine. Now that I'm on a new (and better hardware) server, it's slow.
I'm getting my DBA involved but curious to see if anyone has something to say about this.
