Identify Edition from setup files

    Hello everybody,

    does anybody know a way of identifying the SQL Server 2008 R2 edition from the setup files without running a full install? I got some install media from a service provider, but have my doubts they are the correct edition (Enterprise).

    Of course I can just install them and if necessary upgrade later, but if somebody has a quick way of identifying the edition it would save me some time, especially since I have to install 12 servers.

    Forget about it folks, I remembered the answer.

    Of course the setup files are the same. It's the license key you use which determines which edition will be installed.
