Hide Matrix row/column group in SSRS 2008

  • Hi

I wanted to hide row group called "matrix1_RowGroup2"

When I go to property and change the visibility to hide it hide all my records.

I have created this group for alternate color for matrix data.

It was working perfectly alright with 2005.

Any other way to alternate the record color in matrix 2008.

    Thanks

    Jatin

  • I have exactly the same problem and would appreciate any suggestions. In SSRS 2005, the group that contained the background colour was hidden and the matrix worked OK. In SSRS 2008 all the row groups do not display.

  • You dont even need that group with 2008.

just delete it and give alternate color to matrix just like a table.

    Cheers

  • Or hide the column instead of the whole group. Right click the column header and select Column Visibility.

  • I have been looking at the suggestion raised here with some success:

The column visibility does not appear to be an option. It is greyed out, maybe because it is a row group?
