  • This relates to last MSG. I am Using SQL 6.5 with the latest service pack.

  • You will likely have to call MS for support. Have any changes, anything at all, even not SQL related been made to this server? When was the SP applied?

  • The SP has been on the machine for over a year. i have been chaging some settings memory locks etc as well as creating indexes and defraging existing indexes. the changes to the config were made three weeks before getiing these errors. i have tried changibg the locks and thresholds but these donot seem to have worked. the last thing i did was create the indexes with 80% fill factor which leads me to think possibly a bad sector on disk.
