  • Thank you, Steve, for the post, really good one. (I was sure on what to select by practice)

The first and the hardest SQL statement I have wrote- "select * from customers" - and I was happy and felt smart.

  • Very nice Brain Teaser.

    Thanks.

  • Nice question, thanks Steve.

Need an answer? No, you need a question

  • I was lucky to find the good answer. The only two things I was sure was that it was impossible to create snapshots of system or mirrored databases. It is true that I am using now only Express Editions and snapshots are authorized only with Enterprise/Developer editions.

As system databases case was appearing only in the last choice , the "good" answer was evident.

Any way , a good question... Thanks as I have learnt something today.

  • Gr8 question, thanx.

  • Nice question, thanks Steve.

  • Based on how database snapshots work, it was obvious that this had to be one of the restrictions. That immediately narrowed my options down to just one choice.

  • Good question, although the answer was given away because there was only one answer with "system database". If you had included system database into the list earlier I would not have "guessed" it (I have not had any experience with replication or mirroring yet:-()

Yes, system databases was a giveaway. But so was having a snapshot (as Hugo pointed out). So it wasn't just given away, it was doubly given away.

  • Thanks for the question.
