Backup-failing with I/O error

  • Time does not matter. I for 1 am glad to have found this, it solved a similar issue I experienced the last few weeks...

  • You may try increasing the RAM/Page file allocation on the host.

  • thx, going to have to check this out. problem seems to come and go. only thing is i don't think we do any file system backups of SQL servers

  • has anyone come across this error and any solution :

    Msg 3132, Level 16, State 1, Line 1

    The media set has 2 media families but only 1 are provided. All members must be provided.

    Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 1

    BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.

    MSFT has a hot fix but not sure if that's the only fix to above issue.
