At least someone's looking at it...
With sensors (especially cheap sensors) not only do you have exposure from the network you also have to worry about physical compromise. Why hack a sensor's software when you can simply replace it with your own customized cuckoo's egg?
This is why we can't have nice things. Sigh.

Very good point that I don't think many companies think about.
Off-topic but I have a friend who runs a restaurant and one of her tattoos is "This is why we can't have nice things". That made me laugh this morning. - Thanks!
