2012 availability group split

    Hi,

    I have two databases that I want to make into an AlwaysOn Availability Group. I would like to have synchronous connection between servers with a listener. One of the two databases I would like to have an async connection to a third server be used for reporting purposes.

    Is it possible to do this? Not sure if an availability group can be split in that way.

    You can only configure the synch settings for the AG, not per database.

    Either synch both databases or create two AG's one having only one secondary and another AG having two secondaries on sychronous and one asynchronous.
