2008 and 2000 coexist

  My company has data server using 2000 and SSRS server using 2008.

  Now, someone suggests to put SSRS 2008 into the data server to save one server box.

  Possible? Any possible issues for this type of coexist

  if you have IA64 machine, the answer is NO

  if you have 32bit or x64, the answer is Yes.

  You need to install SQL 2008 database engine and ssrs, sql 2000 will be a data source for your report.
